OUR Rescue

Alejandro is a 12-year-old boy in Latin America who was born with a severe disability and epilepsy, facing unimaginable challenges from the start. His condition from birth left him with limited mobility, and his early years were marked by both physical and emotional abuse. Devastatingly, Alejandro was also trafficked, which resulted in the loss of 90% of his body’s mobility.

Thanks to the unwavering dedication and compassion of the OUR Rescue Survivor Care team, Alejandro has made remarkable progress. This Christmas, we are thrilled to report that with expert therapeutic and medical support, Alejandro has regained the ability to walk this year and continues to benefit from ongoing physical therapy.

OUR Rescue

The OUR Rescue Survivor Care team purchased a special chair for Alejandro’s condition while he continues his physical therapy. Beyond financial assistance, the OUR Rescue Survivor Care team has worked with Alejandro to give him emotional support and tailored, trauma-informed care, ensuring his healing and long-term well-being.

Thank you for helping us bring hope to survivors, not just this holiday season, but all year round. Your impact is felt in the lives of countless survivors around the world.
