On April 20, 2026, the Department of Provincial Administration (DoPA) in Bangkok, Thailand, held a ceremony to recognize the work happening on the ground to fight crimes of human trafficking and child exploitation in Thailand. Under the country’s Ministry of Interior, DoPA is tasked with maintaining public safety and national security and overseeing civil registration, local governance, and community-level legal enforcement across the country’s 76 provinces.

At the ceremony, DoPA presented commemorative pins and certificates of appreciation to members of Our Rescue’s Asia-based team as well as other partner agencies. This was a moment to recognize and reflect on the value of partnership and our shared commitment to work together on behalf of vulnerable children in the Asia-Pacific region.

Ronnarong Thipsiri, Deputy Director General, Department of Provincial Administration (DOPA) in Bangkok, led the ceremony and spoke about the strength of the partnership between DoPA and Our Rescue teams working alongside law enforcement. This collaborative relationship has been forged through careful coordination, consistent support on active cases, and a trust that has been earned over time.

Like DoPA, we are proud of this ongoing partnership and the results we have been able to achieve together. Our Rescue remains committed to this partnership and steadfast in our support for law enforcement field operations happening now and for long-term strategies to combat human trafficking and child exploitation. And we will continue to help prioritize the identification and support of survivors, connecting them to the care they need.

Our Rescue is grateful to DoPA for this recognition and honored to partner with the Administration on such an important, impactful mission.

The following team members from Our Rescue were recognized at the ceremony:

  • Areerat Sukpun (Da), Survivor Care
  • Kulwarang Wongthrirat (Kream), Education and Prevention

Moments like this matter. They reflect the trust that is essential to the partnerships Our Rescue has with governments, law enforcement agencies, and communities around the world. It is this partnership, hard work, and trust that power our mission to end human trafficking and child exploitation.
