BREAKING: A 32-year-old man in Thailand was suspected of sexually exploiting two children, ages 9 and 12 years old. The man was allegedly recording child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on his mobile phone. On the morning of October 8, law enforcement and the Our Rescue team set plans in motion to stop him and bring the children to safety.

At early dawn, the Our Rescue team provided field observations and reporting. Their role was to support by monitoring the suspect carefully, gathering information, and communicating updates to officers with the TICAC (Thailand Internet Crimes Against Children).

At 6:30 a.m., TICAC, supported by Our Rescue, entered the scene with a search and arrest warrant. Police successfully rescued one of the children and ensured their immediate safety. Not long after, the second child was brought to the police station by their guardian, where both were ensured protective services.

During the search, TICAC seized a mobile phone belonging to the suspect. Our Rescue’s specialized Electronic Storage Detection (ESD) K9 Winner and handler Bank supported the scene investigation, and their efforts uncovered a hidden Micro SD card. Later examination revealed that the card contained CSAM. This discovery will be crucial for building the case and moving forward with charges.

After the law enforcement action, Our Rescue’s Survivor Care team worked alongside  government social workers from the local Social Development and Human Security Office. Our Rescue supported the authorities in conducting the interviews and in the coordination of care for both children, ensuring their immediate needs were met.

Their guardians are now taking steps to file official complaints at the police station to pursue charges related to the sexual abuse.
