Amy Bruins

Vice President, Community Impact

Amy Bruins is the Vice President of Community Impact at Our Rescue, overseeing global community development, protection, and counter-trafficking initiatives. She brings deep experience leading complex international programs in partnership with governments, humanitarian organizations, and legal institutions.

Prior to joining Our Rescue, Amy led international development and counter-trafficking efforts with USAID, the American Red Cross, and the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative, working across conflict, disaster, and displacement settings. Her work has included humanitarian response in the Caribbean, counter-trafficking initiatives in the Middle East and North Africa, and protection and child protection programming in refugee and displacement camps in Southeast Asia. A longtime survivor advocate and licensed New York attorney, Amy is committed to advancing sustainable, survivor-centered training and prevention solutions in complex and high-risk environments.
