Today, we proudly honor the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans. Their unwavering commitment to protect and serve inspires us every day, and we are especially grateful for the veterans who are part of our team at OUR Rescue. We’re privileged to have individuals like Lance Lueck, Director of Strategic Partnerships – Asia, whose dedication to defending freedom continues to impact our mission.
Lueck served for 17 years in the U.S. Army, the Army National Guard, and the Army Reserve, then served for six years in the Navy Reserve, retiring from the Army Reserve as a Captain. Today, he works with the OUR Rescue team in Asia to help advance the organization’s mission of ending sex trafficking and child exploitation.
Reflections from Lueck:
“Veteran’s Day is very special to me. While Memorial Day honors those that have fallen, Veteran’s Day honors those that have served. Service is not spoken about enough today. We cannot accomplish the serious tasks without stepping forward and serving.
Veteran’s Day is very special to me. While Memorial Day honors those that have fallen, Veteran’s Day honors those that have served.
Serving my country and my community is important and I started my path via the military. I eventually continued by serving in the federal government as a criminal investigator. Veterans are the folks that take their service so serious they are willing to die over it. There are not many professions they require that amount of dedication and duty.
Veterans are special and we have done great things for the world, this nation, and our communities. Along the way I have met some of the best human beings alive and seen them do some of the most selfless and courageous things imaginable. One of my favorite remembrance days due to all the good memories and strong friendships of brothers and sisters of the highest caliber.
I am proud to have served with such selfless people.”
