In a quiet town in Central Thailand, a young boy was suffering in silence.
He was just 15 years old — a student, a son, a child whose life should have been filled with friends, school, and the promise of the future. Instead, someone he trusted used their position of authority to harm him. A teacher at his school took advantage of that trust, exploiting him and exposing him to unthinkable trauma.
But what the teacher didn’t know was that he left a trail when committing his crimes.
Weeks earlier, investigators from the Thailand Internet Crimes Against Children (TICAC) Task Force had been working on a different case, Operation Pasan. As they dug deeper into the suspect’s online activity, a new connection emerged — someone had been purchasing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) related to that case. That lead brought them to a new suspect: this 27-year-old man who was working in a school.

TICAC requested support from Our Rescue’s Thailand Operations Team to help verify details about the suspect. For three days, our team gathered evidence, conducted field observations, and worked closely with local law enforcement. On April 11, 2025, everything came together.
At 5:30 AM, officers launched Operation Seaside.
The suspect’s dormitory room became the site of a carefully planned mission, involving ten law enforcement personnel and six of our team members. As officers made the arrest, our digital forensics analyst extracted data from the suspect’s devices — uncovering multiple private chat groups where individuals shared CSAM and other information. One of the groups was linked back to the offender from Operation Pasan, confirming that these criminal activities were not isolated, but connected.
Most importantly, that morning, the young boy was identified and brought to safety.
At first, the family was reluctant to file a police report — but with gentle reassurance and support from our Survivor Care team and government officials, they agreed to take the next steps needed to protect their son.

The survivor, a ninth-grade student from a stable and supportive family, is now receiving ongoing care. He’s undergone a medical check-up and is scheduled to meet with a psychologist. Our Survivor Care and legal teams remain by his side, helping the family navigate the next stages with dignity and compassion.

The alleged offender has been charged with multiple crimes, including unlawful conduct with a minor and the possession of CSAM. Three electronic devices — a phone, tablet, and laptop — were seized and are under review by law enforcement.
Operation Seaside is a stark reminder that abuse can happen in the most unexpected places — even under the roof of a school. But it’s also a story of hope. It’s a story about what can happen when people are willing to pay attention, work together across agencies, and act quickly when a child needs help.
And above all, it’s a story of a boy who is no longer alone.
