Multiple rescue operations were carried out simultaneously in karaoke bars in Southeast Asia last week following a Department of Provincial Administration investigation into alleged human trafficking of minors.
Two teams of officials, accompanied by Operation Underground Railroad, conducted the raids at 9.30pm on Thursday, January 31st.

Together they rescued ten girls – the youngest was only 15 years old. During the raid, a 17-year-old victim was performing a service for a customer in a hotel room near the bar.
O.U.R. Aftercare was onsite working with local social workers to provide additional victim services. We will continue to support the survivors through their journey of healing.
