A 17 and 19-year-old were rescued from being trafficked between Kentucky and Indiana. A 34-year-old man was arrested for trafficking these two girls. “Human trafficking can occur in any neighborhood and in any community, and when we learn of a potential trafficking situation, our investigators work to safely rescue the victims and end their exploitation,” said Attorney General Cameron.
Charles “Chuck” Nabit was arrested for allegedly spending $90k on a sex trafficking business. His arrest happened after alleged trafficker Deangelo Johnson was indicted in October.
After police received a tip about potential human trafficking at a La Quinta Hotel in Florida, a 30-year-old man was arrested for trafficking two women.
New York man Jonathan Weiss used the screen name “Ian_Jameson” to manipulate minors into believing that he was their age. HSI Special Agent in Charge Peter C. Fitzhugh said: “Jonathan Weiss allegedly posed as a minor and directed his teenage victims to take and send sexually explicit photographs to him through Snapchat. It is horrific for anyone to prey on our most vulnerable.”
