Belle Barbu was reunited with her mother and family 25 years after being kidnapped as a newborn from a Romanian hospital. O.U.R. Founder Tim Ballard was honored to support and attend this special reunion in our name. 

Mother looks to educate public about human trafficking after losing son

“The trafficker approached him and said, I know you’re a minor, I can get you a job working for us and I’ll get you a place to live, food, clothes, a new phone, jewelry, all the drugs you want if you come live with us and work with us,” Lisa McCormick said of her late son. McCormick is working on spreading awareness about human trafficking to her community in honor of her son. 

In-N-Out Burger Matches Donations 3-To-1 To Fight Human Trafficking

In honor of National Human Trafficking Awareness Month, In-N-Out Burger is matching donations to their nonprofit Slave2Nothing. The Slave2Nothing Foundation’s mission is to free people from being enslaved to any person or substance.

Registered Sex Offender Admits to Child Sex Trafficking

A registered sex offender in Columbus, Ohio, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to sex trafficking a 14-year-old girl. This young girl had gone missing from western Ohio in July 2019. The trafficker put up ads online to sell her for sex. 

Federal grand jury indicts 6 for human trafficking in Eastern, Southern Kentucky

6 people in Kentucky were indicted for conspiring to traffic a human and force them to engage in commercial sex. Every person charged for human trafficking is a step towards making the streets safer for those vulnerable or at risk to being trafficked.
