President Trump signed an executive order to create a new White House position focused solely on human trafficking. This marks the 20th anniversary of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) of 2000.

Homeland Security Investigations’ (HSI) Operation Predator led to the arrest of a 27-year-old man for receiving child sexual abuse videos and images. He was arrested at his home after HSI and LBI executed a federal search warrant.
“The vast majority of sex trafficking that’s actually happening is occurring in a couple of different ways,” Alli Neal said. “Kids who are runaways are definitely being approached. But it is also starting on social media.” Neal’s nonprofit teamed up with law enforcement to teach kids about self-defense, boundaries, and how to recognize predators.
