Amanda is getting married!

That usually calls for making plans, registering at your favorite store and dreaming of all the gifts you’ll receive on your special day. But, for Amanda it’s different.

Amanda can relate to those that Operation Underground Railroad rescues and wants to save as many children as she possibly can. As a result, her Maid of Honor and sister, has organized a rather unique wedding shower.

“We are asking wedding guests to bring donations as opposed to gifts for the bride and groom,” says Linda. “We are also making this run an open event for all to join whether they are invited or coming to the wedding or not. This is her desire for their wedding shower.”

On May 30^th you can join the 5K Rescue run/walk to raise money to help save kids. The event is family and stroller friendly and begins at West Ranch School, 26255 Valencia Blvd, Santa Clarita, California.
