All About Becoming an Abolitionist
In Episode 10 of the Slave Stealer, Mark Mabry talks with Mark Stott, an O.U.R. veteran. They discuss the miraculous meetings that made the production of “The Abolitionists” possible. This is the documentary about O.U.R. that discusses what they do and talks about becoming an abolitionist. Because of the financial contributions of two very important donors, O.U.R. created and promoted the film without dipping into any of its regular donations reserved for funding rescue missions.
One of the greatest miracles that stemmed from the production of “The Abolitionists” was that the footage served as concrete evidence against the traffickers so none of the children had to testify in court.
This movie allowed people around the world to see the problem that was going on, along with a solution. Mabry and Stott discuss the importance of talking about trafficking and other sexual abuse in our society, as well as with children at an appropriate age.
